(Reuters) - The new contract includes an annual wage increase of 3.5 percent, improvements to the workers pension plan and a ratification bonus, another company spokesman told Reuters.
About 1,100 workers at the Windsor Locks, Connecticut-based unit represented by the International Association of Machinists were covered by a contract due to expire at midnight on Sunday.
