(Bloomberg) -- Australian shares gained for a second
day. BHP Billiton Ltd. climbed after yesterday announcing the
approval of its $1.7 billion Pyrenees oil field project off the
coast of northwestern Australia.
CSR Ltd. rose after Guinness Peat Group Plc said it bought
more than 6 percent of the company's shares.
