(Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks rose, led by energy stocks such as Inpex Holdings Inc. and PTT Pcl after crude oil prices climbed to the highest in almost two weeks.
The Morgan Stanley Capital International Asia-Pacific Index added 0.1 percent to 148.59 at 2:18 p.m. in Tokyo. Japan's Nikkei 225 Stock Average was little changed, while the broader Topix index fell 0.1 percent. All benchmarks in the region gained.
