(Reuters) - In a decision issued Monday, Schwab said the lawsuit filed by the FTC in March was superseded by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, which approved the deal in April after concluding it would be in the public interest.
The FTC is still pursuing an administrative complaint against the deal and could challenge Schwab's ruling in federal appeals court.
