UPDATE 1-Chile April copper exports rise to $3.282 bln

(Reuters) - Copper exports in April 2006 were $2.464 billion.

Chile is the world's top copper producer and the South American country has benefited from high prices, driven by limited supplies and sustained demand from China's booming economy. Copper export revenue accounts for about half of Chile's exports.
