(Bloomberg) -- Cattle prices in Australia, the
world's second-largest beef exporter, fell 1 percent this week
following a decline in the condition and weight of the animals
offered for sale.
The benchmark Eastern Young Cattle Indicator, which
measures auction prices in eastern Australia, fell 3.25 cents,
to A$3.3375 ($2.79) a kilogram yesterday. There were no reported
cattle markets being held today.
