(Reuters) - The results were weaker than expected, and Bear Stearns
shares fell 2.5 percent in premarket trading to $145.81.
Net income was $361.7 million, or $2.52 a share, for the
fiscal second quarter ended May 31, compared with $539.3
million, or $3.72 a share, a year earlier.
