(Bloomberg) -- European Union carbon-dioxide
emission permits rose for a second day.
Emission permits for delivery in December 2008 gained as
much as 45 cents, or 1.9 percent, to 24.10 euros ($32) a metric
ton, according to the European Climate Exchange in Amsterdam.
They traded at 24.01 euros as of 8:30 a.m. local time.
