(Bloomberg) -- BP Plc and its partners may expand their
oil pipeline from Azerbaijan to Turkey to handle more crude from
Chevron Corp. and BG Group Plc-led projects in Kazakhstan.
BP-led companies will decide next quarter whether to expand
the capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline by 20 percent to
1.2 million barrels a day, said Norman Ingram, the pipeline project
director for BP in Azerbaijan. If a decision is made to expand, the
capacity will be increased by June 2008.
