(Bloomberg) -- Singapore Airlines Ltd., Asia's most
profitable carrier, said it's in ``advanced'' discussions about
a potential investment in China Eastern Airlines Corp., as it
seeks more access to the world's second-largest aviation market.
The companies haven't reached a final agreement, Singapore
Airlines said in a statement late yesterday, the first time it
has announced talks with the Shanghai-based carrier.
