New York City economy worsens in May: NY-NAPM

(Reuters) - The report's seasonally adjusted measure on current business conditions fell to 35.2, the weakest since at least April 2005, from 66.5 in April. The survey's outlook gauge slipped to 50.0 in May from 66.7 in April.




"The 'business conditions index' dropped in May, but has been on a steady ascent, consistent with the favorable employment trends since 2001," NY-NAPM said in a statement.
